Corporate Satellite Broadcasting


What is it?
It is Create Media Partner's new service
allowing fully interactive communication between management & staff anywhere in Europe.

How does it work?
The system operates in real-time & provides pictures & sound of DVD quality via digital TV satellite uplink broadcasting.

Can't I do this on the Internet?
High quality TV and audio in real time is mostly not available via the Internet. Experience shows that remote outlets do not have broadband connectivity availability due to the restrictions of the telephone service provider. Also for example if 5 people watch MTV in relatively low quality format over the company's Intranet, there is little capacity left for the rest of the company to handle business data.


Ok so how can we do it then?
The solution to this problem is available through us. Companies will be able to create a regular business television program recorded in our studio, or by special arrangement broadcast directly from the boardroom to
all their outlets. We will provide and have installed at each outlet a computerised MPEG2 video server, which includes a satellite receiver and small dish.

So what can it do?
The server will be pre-loaded with health and safety information videos, as well as staff induction training material. It will also receive the live corporate programme, which it will display on an attached TV screen. If staff are not available to watch at transmission time it will auto record for later viewing.

What type of communication can we make to staff?
Product introductions and news, sales campaigns, best business practices, company information and staff achievement are typical topics within the broadcast. The programme could for example, open with staff response emails from the last broadcast leading to discussion with responsible product or project managers. It can then launch into the latest corporate or management information and finish with the up to the moment instant programme email responses.

The live broadcast can contain pre-recorded information that a company may have already, or newly pre-prepared material that we produce for you. The system not only provides this service but will allow the training officer to know when staff have completed training modules by emailing HQ when they have been completed. An excellent solution to all IIP (Investor In People) concerns.

This is all sounding expensive isn't it?
Well no, concerning the hardware and running costs system payback is available. The MPEG2 servers are multi-channel so they can play out into the retail area in store product promotions and product advertising. These adverts for products such as Coca-Cola or Black and Decker (depending on your business type) are logged. The confirmed play list is emailed to HQ and the advertiser is billed appropriately.
Using this method the servers will pay for themselves many times over.

Also, consider how expensive is it for staff not to be following the company ethos and losing business because they are not fully informed. By watching the moving image staff can be appealed to on an emotional level not available in the written domain. Clearly the production costs need to be taken into account but excluding those an uplink to anywhere in Europe only costs under £4,000.
